7 Year Olds Love Sugar

My nephews birthday was on August 31st but we throwing his party this coming Saturday so all his schools friends could be invited. Of coarse I am in charge of making the cupcakes, I jumped at the chance to make them for him! He wanted silly faced vanilla cupcakes, I love his simplicity, but I wanted to surprise him with other sugary surprises on top! I knew this would be a 2 day project so I started yesterday! Here are the ones i have finished so far, I have another dozen to decorate!

Along with silly faces, I made ones with S's for Sylvan and 7 for his age along with sprinkles and mini M and M's!

I'm pretty sure his Mom is going to love all the sugar rushes she will have on her hands

Projects!!!

 Along with my list of things I want to accomplish in the next week and a half, I have been feeling overwhelmed with how much crap I have in my house. I feel cluttered even though everything has a place and looks neat and clean, but I know the truth. So, after Nathan took Audrey to daycare and went to work for the day, I got to work on a project! I was determined to get rid of as much crap as possible and really truly organize my life so to speak. My first project was to finally frame photos I have had lying around of Audrey and places and things I have done this past year and hang them up. My next project was to go through the hundreds of magazines and papers and paperwork I have and throw them away and organize the ones I wanted to keep! Magazine holders are my savor and photos boxes are great too! Below is my newly cleaned out and organized closet!! I know its kinda of lame to be excited about this but shut up I don't care! Here is the finished work!!

I made everyone write a little note to Audrey on her birthday! Here are a few framed notes. I cut up 2 Birthday cards for a little more sparkle! I love this one!

Finally up on the wall, along with another one of my Paris photos my brother got me! They turned out so great

Photo boxes are labeled bills, receipts and misc, magazine holders contain magazines, reams of paper, spiral notebooks, and the accordion holds paperwork from Audrey's health info to our bank records!! I'm in love!

Sorry things have been like a ghost town around here lately but I have 2 weeks until school starts up again so I will take this next week to update as much as possible before I have to pack up and house sit again!! C'est La Vie!
