The flu has struck, and thank goodness it has only knocked me out of commission. I have been confined to my bed since Sunday night when this whole thing started. It first started with a soar throat then slowly escalated to a runny stuffy nose and sinus congestion and my ears are plugged up.Thank goodness my Mom and sister are here to help take care of Audrey. I still have to be a mommy but I am trying to stay away from her as much as possible so she does not get sick as well. Luckily last week she got her flu shot, it was just in the nick of time. I have been on a diet of medicine, juice and tea for the last 2 days.Audrey has not shown any signs of the flu and I hope it stays that way. On a good note I heard from my sister Amber today. She is planning a visit out here to Washington sometime in November. She lives in Montana so its hard these days to see each other. I cant wait to see her and for Audrey to meet her Aunt Amber. Its crazy how big Audrey has grown since she was born and it makes me sad that so much of my family lives far away and does not get the chance to see her, hence why I started this blog. Now that I am feeling a little bit better I will be able to get back on top of posting little Audreys everyday adventures. The next few days are going to be fun. We are getting new furniture and going to the pumpkin patch on Saturday as well as getting her monkey costume!! Pictures are soon to follow!
