Audrey can say Mama and Dada

With the weather being so terrible, we are spending more time at home, only going out when we absolutely need to. This is leaving more and more time to work with Audrey on how to sit up and talking! This morning she woke up around 6 am for her morning feeding. Luckily she was ready to go back to sleep right away which put a smile on my face of course. But a few minutes before actually falling asleep, I could hear her talking to herself and she finally said, "Mama". I cant believe it! We have been working so hard on teaching her to say Dada and Mama and sign language! Things are going so well and I am so excited to see what the next few months has to hold for us. Besides hearing Audrey say Mama for the first time we spent the day inside minus the few hours I went out running errands. While I was out I got a big craving for Chili since in this weather it always warms me up and makes me feel good! Once I got home I started on dinner which was Chili Cheese Biscuits! Super simple which is always a plus with me! Recipe is below along with photos of before and after! My old friend Nissa used parchment paper instead of cupcake cups for some muffins she used so I stole the idea and it worked out great! Try and enjoy!

Take 1 jiffy corn muffin mix and mix in a bowl
1 can of Nalley's original Chili
Shredded Cheddar

Heat oven to 400 degrees
In a muffin tin line each cup with parchment paper and spray with Pam
Fill half the cup with corn muffin mix
Spoon a dollop of Chili in the middle
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese
Bake until cheese is bubbling and outer edges of muffins are lighly brown, about 10 minutes
