Starbucks and Ikea

Today was one of the best days we have had in a while, for a few reasons. 1, im finally at and end of this nasty cold I have had for 5 days and was able to make it out of bed and out of the house. 2, I got paid today which is always AMAZING since not working right now is putting somewhat of a damper on things. 3, Nathan, Audrey and I went to Ikea to pick up some new furniture for out bedroom!! I always love going to Ikea, it gives me new ideas about decorating and organizing my house! Before we took this mini road trip we stopped at Starbucks and I got my signature tall nonfat extra hot white chocolate mocha with extra foam and whip cream and nathan picked up his favorite peppermint mocha!! Coffee always puts me in a good mood especially when its made the right way! Once we got to Ikea we made a B line staight for the dressers. We have needed a new dresser for 2 years but have been putting it off for so long but today was finally the day! We got this dresser and I love it! It looks perfect in the room and fits the tiffany blue and dark brown theme we have going on! After we picked up the dresser I wanted to check out Childrens Ikea to see about picking up some things for Audrey! I didnt see too many things that caught my eye that she needs now but I did pick up a set of really cute bowls that are perfect for her feeding times! They come with plates and spoons that I will most likely go back and get for her when she is a little older so she has a cute set of dishes all to herself! But my favorite part was that on our way to check out we passed the textile section and saw a bedspread we both LOVED!! We didnt get it today but we will be going back hopefully next month to pick it up! Its funky and fits the style of the decor!! Bottom line is, WE LOVE IKEA!! Audrey had a great today! She slept most of the trip but had a funtime cruising ikea and playing with the stuffed animals in the kid section! We have added another doctor appointment to our schedule for next week so Dr. Wells can take a look at the x rays we got at Mary Bridge to see if her colon is possibly twisted! im keeping my fingers crossed for nothing but good news next week! It will definetly be a rough one! Goodnight!
