MRI results
I love this photo! This is my Grandmother, we call her GIGI instead of great Grandma for Audrey. She is one of the most amazing people I know. She has done so much for us since Audrey was born including making homemade burp rags and a comforter with a duvet cover that I just adore. On this day she came up for a quick visit and I snapped this photo, its perfect!I have been taking photos almost everyday of Audrey so I want to start a new project where I post a new photo everyday along with my blog! So yesterday was Audrey's follow up appointment at Mary Bridge with her GI doctor. The point of this appointment was to go over the MRI she had a few weeks ago and to touch bases on how her medicine is working and if I have noticed any changes. First thing was first, we had to weigh the little one and I proud to announce that she FINALLY weighs 14 pounds. I know it does not sound like a lot but that is 10 pounds more then when she was born and it has been quit a feat to get here. I am very proud! Once we were in the room, the specialist came in and we started getting down to business. She let us know that the MRI came back NORMAL, Nathan and I could not help but to breathe a sigh of relief, it was so good to hear. But she did say that the MRI showed a lot of built up stool in her GI tract, which is not bad but its not very good. It causes pain and obviously does not help the constipation. She gave us some more refills on the laxative and wanted us to start adding a tablespoon of formula into her baby food since I had noted that Audrey is not getting enough and give her more laxative a day to help with the clean out. I was so happy to know that our little girl was okay and now all we have to get through is all this POOP, my favorite thing! We have a check up in 2 months and I am hoping we can get her cleaned out by then! Other then the appointment we didn't do much, I decided to push back our shopping until today, so now I have to get ready for that! Until next time!
