Today marks the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor and as we prepare for the memorial of the 4 fallen officers who were brutally taken from us I cannot help but think of everyone in this world who so selfishly give their lives to protect others.My heart aches as I think of the families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty or at war. I am proud to be an American and a citizen of Lakewood and I can never say Thank You enough to soldiers, police officers and firefighters. I am lucky enough to be friends with several individuals who wear the uniform and being able to call them close friends makes me so grateful. I love you all for what you do and Thank You for being such amazing people. God Bless the families of the 4 fallen officers. You may be gone but never forgotten. God Bless the families of all soldiers fallen and alive. I am thankful!
