What a mess.....

TGIF!! Another daily photo of Audrey is up! She was tired this day and in the middle of us playing on the floor she leaned over on the pillow and started to zone out! I think she is cute!This morning has been very interesting to say the least. After waking up at 7 for Audrey's morning feeding we both went back to sleep for a few hours, trust me it was needed. My alarm went off at 10 and it took me almost an hour to get out of bed, with Audrey being sick this last week our schedules are way off, I spent most of last night awake until about 3am. It all started with feeding Audrey the BRAT diet which is recommended to give babies when they are not feeling well, Bananas, Rice, Apples and Toast. I whipped up some Bananas with rice cereal and formula for breakfast which my luck is her favorite!. After eating the whole jar, I was feeling confident that Audrey was feeling a little better but when I went to give Audrey a drink of formula and that's when it happened. She projectile vomited all over the front and right side of her along with her boppy chair. I knew she did not feel well but this made it apparent. So I decided to give Audrey bath and started to undress her in her chair, wanting to keep the mess in a consolidated area. Once I unzipped her sleep and play I noticed that she had now pooped through her diaper and it was now up her left side and her back. At this point I had poop and vomit on my hands and Audrey is now covered in it on both sides. I was horrified and felt bad for Audrey because she obviously does not feel well at all. After a quick bath she is back to being in a good mood and I was able to put her down for a nap. My list of things to do today just got a little longer with an added load of laundry but knowing that Audrey feels a little better makes me feel better. It has been an interesting morning, hopefully the rest of the day goes well and she does not have anymore blowups!
