We just found out today that my brother Kevin is leaving for Afghanistan in less then a week. His new assignment has of coarse changed a lot things when it comes to the holidays. Because we got word of it today it is too sudden to plan a Christmas before he leaves sadly. We have made the decision to send him boxes full of Christmas things to remind him of home and of coarse his presents. Before he went home tonight he came over to the house and brought my present since he already had it and wanted to see my reaction! Everyone knows my love for Paris and everything french. I am in love with the culture, romance and history. Kevin surprised me with this photo in a gorgeous black frame!
