More Doctor Appointments

Today was a busy day to say the least. Audrey had 2 doctor appointments plus we had to run a few other errands before, inbetween and after them. First stop of the day was the WIC office to pick up some paperwork that the doctor needed to fill out for her formula to be changed to soy, then it was off to the doctor. The wait was not bad at all until we got into the room. We had about a 30 minute wait and Audrey was not having it. She had Nathan and I running around like chickens with our heads cut off. She was not very happy. Between changing her diaper, playing peek a boo and reading a book to her it was exhausting. Finally when the doctor came in we explained to him that she is still constipated and that we have done everything we can think of to help her. He perscribed us Miralax and Magnisium Citrate to clean out her colon and soften her stool. And then he listened to her insides and didnt like what he heard. He referred us to Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital again , this time to see the gastroenterologist. He needs to stick a scope down her throat and look at her colon and insides to see if something is wrong on the inside. Poor Audrey will have another appointment for something else that is wrong. But I guess at the end of the day better safe then sorry right!? Other then that Audrey is now 11 pounds and 7 ounces. She is getting so big and I love it. She makes her father and I laught all the time. This week is a big week. Besides todays appointments her CT Scan and appionment with the nuerosurgeoun is on Wedensday. My grandmother and mother are going to come along for support and trust me, we need it. Her second appointment went a lot better. WIC changed her formula to soy so hopefully that will help her little tummy. The lady also gave me great tips on how to make homemade baby food! Puree the food and then freeze them in ice cube trays. I can mix and match the cubes at her feeding to create yummy combinations for her. I am excited to finally get that project going. Plus WIC now gives us $8 for fresh fruit and vegetables which is great!! After her WIC appointment we ran to walmart and then went and paid rent and picked up Grandma from work. We are finally home and relaxing. Today was fun with my little family. Tomorrow will be a day to catch up on rest! Day 1 of crazy week is down 6 more to go!
